Picnic Shelter is available to book for events
Construction of our picnic shelter was completed in the spring of 2021, and it looks amazing! It is adjacent to the playground and it has been built on the existing concrete slab from the old fire hall. There are two BBQ's installed by the shelter for your grilling pleasure!
We anticipate years of fun to be had under the shelter of this beautiful new structure! We are currently taking rental bookings for the Spring/Summer 2024 for groups of 25 and up. Please check the calendar for availability and contact us directly to book it. |
Nature Trail is open with fresh new signage!
All of our trails have been upgraded, cleaned up and have brand new signage. We now have Turtle Trail which is the main trail that begins near the playground. We also have Beaver Trail that begins by the field and Ganong Trail which provides a walking path around the baseball field.
We also have a brand new trail called Old Stone Bridge Trail that leads back towards the lake with awesome marsh views!
Red 'No Hunting' discs have been posted on most of the hydro poles in the field near the trail.
We hope that you all can enjoy nature walks through our beautiful trails and they are also a great spot for winter snowshoeing!
Take a book, leave a book!
During the summer of 2020, we launched our free community library. It is located against the backside of the old rink house. Please feel free to pay a visit, browse the books and take what you like. In return, if you have any books that you no longer need please feel free to donate them to our library for others to enjoy.
Regular visitors to our library: If you notice any books that have been sitting there for an extended period of time, please remove them and donate them elsewhere (KV or Hampton libraries) as we do not want to run out of space!

Vial for Life
This initiative is being spearheaded by Jack Fitzpatrick who works for Ambulance New Brunswick and is also a volunteer with the Nauwigewauk Fire department. It is open to everybody and involves putting a sticker on your front door indicating that there is a plastic vial in the refrigerator that contains all of your medical information. First responders are trained to look for the sticker on the door.
To sign up for this program and receive your sticker and vial, please contact the Nauwigewauk Fire Department at 832-7327 and leave a message or contact Jack Fitzpatrick directly through FB messenger.
